I love little house decor and I fell in love with Mye’s latest release Love Lives Here. The colors, papers and elements are wonderful! For my post today I am going to show you how to make a personalized clipboard! Are you ready to make yours today?
Supply list:
– Dollar store-bought clipboards
– Pen
– Colorful scrapbook papers
– Glue
– Modge Podge
– Fabric Flower
I chose to print out these papers and cards from the Love Lives Here collection. I gathered my supplies as shown.
I painted around the edge of my clipboard. Once it was dry I cut out my papers to fit the clip board. The first time I printed my pages wrong! In my pictures shown here they are vertical. If you print vertical the paper is a bit short to fit. Make sure you print your paper horizontal 11 by 8 1/2 wide. Once I made that correction they fit great! I rounded the edges and cut out the center to fit over the top of the clip. I added a little ribbon to my fabric flower. I just clipped one from some flowers I had. Now you are ready to glue the pages to your clipboard. I used hot glue to attach the flower to the clip. You can also add a little modge podge to the top of the paper to give it a little shine. Or spray with some clear gloss.
I thought it would make a great housewarming gift. It makes the perfect spot to clip anything house related. Little notes, bills to pay. Whatever you decide to clip to it. I enjoyed sharing this project with you today. My completed clipboard!
Love Lives Here is a great kit to add to your collection!
