Today brings a fun, simple DIY tutorial using glass tiles to create customized glass tile pendants!
Supplies: 4 clear glass tiles, 4 bails, Clear Gel Tacky Glue or other clear drying glaze, goop glue, printed element, or scrap booking paper and scissors.
I printed some fun elements from Mye De Leon’s Abundance kit. I just love the little owl she created. I used various sizes of the owl and bird as well as a few paper designs to use depending on the round or square sizes of the tiles. After printing, I cut them out and put a thin coating of glaze over the image.
Then I gently place the glass tile over the image and smooth away any bubbles in the glaze. After a few hours of drying time I am now ready to glue a bezel to the back of the tile. I have also made my tiles into magnets in much the same way. Instead of gluing a bezel to the back I have glued a magnet instead.
There are endless possibilities using glass tiles!
