You’ve seen some great scrapbookers – their beginnings and how they are currently doing. You’ve seen that they have improved over the years. You can see that their first layouts were way too far from how they are creating now. That only proves one thing – Clustering can be learned. Just don’t give up and keep on practicing.
And as promised – here’s a video of my clustering process. Please apologize the lack of sound and editing. This wasn’t part of my original plan. If you can’t view it – please check back in a few minutes.
Now, I have a challenge for you!
- Get your software running
- Dig a photo (even if it’s just one photo!) and look for a kit and try creating a layout.
- Upload your layout to any gallery or photobucket and come back here.
- Paste the layout link in the comments below
Tamara, Donna and I will be here to look at your layouts and give feedback!
And if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to let us know. Our 2 talented guests have given us time to answer any questions you might have so ask away!
Did you like this post? Please do share to your friends whom you know might need it too!

Lori – we can’t view the image – Facebook says it is unavailable?
Is there any way you could redo this vid with sound? Ihave the PA techniques down! I would love to hear why you do things in that manner.
PS techniques!
Hi Lynda – For that particular layout – I followed just the rule of thirds – by placing my photo on the top right grid.http://myedeleon.showitbinary.wpengine.com/threes-a-charm-a-photoshop-tutorial/
As for the element placing – I followed no rules. Just plop everything together. When I’m clustering, I don’t like the page to be all clean – i like it with layers thus I add papers.
I have plans of putting more video soon. I’ll take note of your input.
